Finished with crispy churros, chocolate bars, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, this indulgent shake offers a delightful blend of American, Mexican, and Spanish flavors, perfect for a fancy summer treat.

Ingredients

For Milkshake

  • 3 ½ to 4 cups Dulce de leche ice cream
  • 1 ½ cups Whole Milk
  • Dulce de leche, to drizzle

For Dulce de Leche Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dulce de leche

For Garnish

  • Churros
  • Chocolate Bar
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses: Swirl dulce de leche around the inner sides of your serving glasses to create a caramel coating, then place the glasses in the freezer to chill while you prepare the milkshake.
  2. Make the milkshake: In a blender, combine 3 ½ to 4 cups of dulce de leche ice cream with 1 ½ cups whole milk. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour the blended milkshake into the prepared chilled glasses and return them to the freezer while you prepare the whipped cream.
  3. Prepare the dulce de leche whipped cream: In a mixing bowl, beat 1 cup heavy whipping cream, ¼ cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon dulce de leche together until stiff peaks form, creating a rich and fluffy topping.
  4. Assemble and garnish: Top each milkshake glass with a generous dollop of the dulce de leche whipped cream. Garnish with crispy churros, pieces of chocolate bar, and a light sprinkle of cinnamon powder for added flavor and texture.
  5. Serve: Serve the milkshake immediately to enjoy the perfect combination of creamy, sweet, and crunchy elements in every sip.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought dulce de leche and vanilla or dulce de leche ice cream, such as Häagen-Dazs, if homemade versions are unavailable.
  • Adjust the sugar content and milkshake thickness to your personal preference.
  • Freezing the glasses after adding the dulce de leche drizzle helps prevent the milkshake from warming too quickly.
  • Churros can be store-bought or homemade depending on availability and time.
